per asus: STXII/STXII 7.1 is not compatible with X370/B350/X470/B450/X399/X570 series MB. looking at asus forums asus says there is no fix either.

It’s really a question of personal taste. Blazer Z is dated but still, it’s a decent choice for the price. I personally simply use FiiO E10K and that’s enough for me=)

Last week I bought new Motherboard MSI X570-A Pro with Realtek® ALC1220 Codec. It’s absolutely terrible. I use JVC TH-D7 5.1 audio system. Can’t listen to music even watch films because audio on this board is so terrible. It hurts me. So, do you think that Sound Blaster Z will be enough for me?

STR is a better card overall but it’s expensive so it depends on your budget and how much you are of an audiophile. Blaster Z is great for the price and it would do the job for my needs.
