I have struggled for years (ignorantly) trying to burn discs with the inbuilt Windows burner and probably chucked in excess of a 100 “damaged” discs down the landing! This is the breakthru I have been hoping for 🙂

Hi, I’ve just started using DVDFab to copy DVDs. It works well, with no technical details for you to set up. You just put your original disc in your DVD drive and start the process. My only complaint is that it takes a long time to make a copy. Only tried it twice, trying different brands of blank discs, so I didn’t put a stopwatch on it. DVDFab cost me $55.99 for a lifetime version of “DVDFab DVD Copy”. The “Free” version only allows you to make 3 copies of discs before you have to buy it.

Formally I was using RipIt4Me with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, until recently the program just stopped working. I guess the updates to Windows 10 eventually made it difficult for the RipIt4Me program to work successfully, so I was forced to find another program.

Hi,

The majority of picks are free or partially free so you can try a majority of them. You can try CDBurnerXP and Anyburn and see if they are enough for the needs. Ashampoo Burning Studio is also easy to use.

But too many good choices. Need concluding summary. Which One do you use? Which is quick and easy for novice pressed for time. If price was no object? My head hurts trying to decide and taking too long.
I want to learn to become good for the long term.
