That the author said “Not that great software” as a con for the LL120s but didn’t say horrible software about the thermalTake Riing Trios tells me that the author never used the ThermalTake fans.

Must say you have an impressive knowledge of fans and have listed the best brands from a very crowded market. I do recommend the NZXT FN V2 140MM RF-FN142-RB and any corsair fan. Gelid solutions is also a good brand for the with a budget.

Hi,

Measure your fan horizontally (or vertically as it’s usually a square) from side to side but not diagonally.

Usually there is only one size that fits the fan slot. If you have an empty slot for a case fan and want to find out the appropriate fan size, you need to measure the distance between the fan’s screw holes and then add about 10mm (approximately). So if the distance is 70-72mm you need an 80mm fan. Check this “size guide” https://www.quietpc.com/faq/27.

What’s the best way to determine the size of the fans I’m currently running and how would I find out if I can/should run bigger fans? Thanks in advance.
