I am surprised to see the Koramzi in your “pick” list. I bought two of these (new). Both have the same very strange problem: When I set a “daily” or “weekly” recording first time records fine, but next scheduled recording gets pushhed SIX days into the future from the date it is supposed to be recorded again. So, for FIVE days nothing gets recorded. It is bad!

Hi Teresa,

It’s difficult to say which one will last longer. You may want to try iDOO as it doesn’t have holes like other boxes. The problem with it is that if the signal is poor, it just shows “poor signal” rather than pixelating the image.

Hi, I am looking for a new digital converter box. But heres the problem. I live in the country down below the bluff so I don’t get good reception. And where I live sand dust sifts in the house all the time so my electric things fry alot, even if I dust and vacuum daily. I just need a converter box no recording or exta things on it. I would like it to show time date channel. I do have an outdoor antenna which has a 125 mile range on it. My last REC converter just died so looking for a new one. Any suggestions Please. Thank you.
