Hi John,

Gueray, Sony, HOTT and Soulcker have resume feature (usually works fine unless you press stop or change the CD disc).

If you mean that you want to resume what was playing in the car, then it won’t work unless you use the cd player in the car (connect the player with the car’s aux input using aus cord like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R11WPK4/. well, it should work).

Regarding the speakers, portable players don’t have them. You can go for good old boomboxes in this case https://www.thetechlounge.com/best-boombox/ but they usually are lacking the resume feature.

Hi Mirela
I’m looking for a good portable CD MP3 player.
I recently have been listening to audio cd books and some books are 10 cd’s and some are 1 cd
(mp3) .
That means I need a good CD player that can play both.
I can play them on my car CD player but don’t want to sit there listening to 25 hrs of a story, I need one I can put on my bedhead and listen in comfort.
I don’t know if you can purchase a player with speakers and ear phones, your help is appreciated .
Also a cd player that when you turn off ,then later you turn on it starts back at the last page…
I hope I am not asking to much.
