In reply to Techs Motion Staff. Disk Director absolutely does support GPT. All my drives are GPT and I've used Disk Director many, many times to rearrange partitions, but not to clone disks. I believe Disk Director is getting a bit long in the tooth without frequent updates, however. I know the most recent version still works, but compared to some of the others like AOMEI, Disk Director is more expensive, at least slightly.

ACRONIS DISK DIRECTOR does NOT support GPT drives, it says it right as you go to purchase. Just bizarre too! All HD these days are formatted GPT.

The programs advertise with being able to convert dynamic drives to basic drives e.g. “Easeus Partition Master Pro v14”, “Aomei Partition Assistant Professional v8.8” and “MiniTool Partition Wizard”. You write in the article that most of these programs lack dynamic disk support and that you are then being picky? My laptop yesterday suddenly turned out be “dynamic” and now I am not able to clone to a new larger SSD and not being able to backup with my normal backup program..
